Choosing the Right Pre-Roll Format
The products in this lineup divide into two types: branded pre-roll cones (you fill them) and branded pre-roll tube packaging (packaging for pre-rolls you've already filled). Here's how to think about each format:
Logo printed on the paper — Your brand is on the cone itself, visible throughout the session. Highest-visibility branding. 24,000-cone minimum — designed for established brands doing volume.
Printed tips — Your logo is on the filter tip, where customers' eyes go first. Lower MOQ (4,200 cones), accessible entry point. Compatible with your existing packaging setup.
Paper packaging — Cones arrive in branded paper tubes or triangles (3–4 cones per pack). Cone + packaging branding in one product. Ready for retail display.
Plastic packaging — Cones in branded plastic tubes or triangles (6–8 cones per pack). Most durable format, choice of printing on tips only or full cone paper, widest quantity range.
Kraft tube — Cones in a custom kraft paper tube. Eco-forward aesthetic, boutique positioning. From 100 units.
Plastic jar — Cones in a branded plastic jar. Distinct shelf format that differentiates from standard tubes and triangles.
Box-opening — Cones in a box with a specialty opening mechanism. Premium packaging experience for brands that want an unboxing moment.
Big retail box — Bulk cone display box for high-volume dispensary programs. From 10,000 units.
Retail packaging — Versatile branded retail format across multiple cone sizes and paper types.
Doob tubes — Branded cylindrical tubes for pre-rolls you've already rolled or filled. If you're filling pre-rolls in-house and need retail-ready single-unit tube packaging under your brand, this is the format. No cone included — packaging only.
Compliance Note on Pre-Roll Packaging
Most products in this lineup are not certified child-resistant. If your state requires CR packaging for pre-rolls, you will need to package products in a certified CR container. See our Custom Child-Resistant Packaging for compliant pre-roll packaging options, or contact us to discuss your state's specific requirements.
